Yes, we're back home, but I thought I would leave you for now, with a picture of how our bus looked after traversing the "roads" in Alaska. I'm sorry (and sufficiently chastised by many of you) that I have been neglecting the blog. But, I have good reason -- working diligently on a book proposal for a bus memoir. For now, here's a link to some press our trip is already getting. pn.psychiatryonline.org/cgi/content/full/41/1/11 And, have no fear! There may very well be a new blog acomin': Tim, ever tiring of how (his perception) I portray him in the blog as, "an idiot" (his perception, again)will likely be pushed over the edge by this post's picture and may finally, as I have often retorted, "get your own blog!"

Hi there,
Thanks. I forwarded your email to our bus converters, since I haven't a clue.

Doreen,
We can't wait for next months' BusConversion Mag. I read your article first. We are about one and a half years away from our conversion finish. But for now, you are on our dream trip. Your articles will be so useful when we plan our trip. And we have animals, too. Thanks. Jim and Laurie Berry, Glasgow, KY MCI Conversion owners

Laurie,
How sweet of you!

We actually completed our trip over a year ago and are now, unfortunately, land lubbers. Our plan though, is to fix our house up and sell it in 2 years, then get back on the road full time for awhile. I guess Tim not only got a converted the bus, but a converted wife... into a bus nut!

And... I'm so excited, but just found out Random House is going to publish my memoir of our bus travels in June '08!
If you'd like, send me your email and I'll let you know when it's out.
